Sarah Bryce
Sarah Jennifer Bryce (born 8 January 2000) is a Scottish cricketer who plays for the national cricket team as a wicket-keeper-batter. At the domestic level, she plays for the Watsonian cricket club, for English teams The Blaze (formerly known as Lightning) and Kent, and for Welsh Fire. Previously, she has taken the field for English teams Nottinghamshire and Oval Invincibles. Bryce is best known as a batter who has represented Scotland at cricket since she was fifteen years old. However, she is also an accomplished wicket keeper. Her older sister, Kathryn, similarly plays international cricket for Scotland. Kathryn Bryce (born 17 November 1997) is a Scottish cricketer who is the current captain of the Scotland women's cricket team. In December 2020, Bryce was named the ICC Associate Cricketer of the Decade. In June 2021, Bryce became the first cricketer for Scotland, male or female, to make it into the top ten of the ICC Player Rankings. Her sister, Sarah, has also played international cricket for Scotland. The Durham Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Durham. They played their home games at various grounds across the county, including Green Lane Cricket Ground, Durham, County Durham and Park Drive, Hartlepool. The 2018 Women's County One-Day Championship was the 22nd cricket Women's County Championship season. It ran from the beginning of May to the beginning of June and saw 33 county teams and teams representing Scotland, Wales and the Netherlands compete in a series of divisions. Hampshire Women won the County Championship as winners of the top division with Yorkshire finishing runners-up. The 2016 Women's County One-Day Championship was the 20th cricket Women's County Championship season. The Championship was won by Kent who recorded their seventh championship, setting a new record for the number of championships won. The runners-up were Sussex. The Somerset Women cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English ceremonial county of Somerset. They play their home games at various grounds across Somerset, most often in Taunton, and are captained by Sophie Luff. The FairBreak Invitational T20 is a women's Twenty20 cricket competition. The tournament, sanctioned by the ICC, is privately-run by FairBreak Global, a company that aims to promote gender equality. Players from around the world play in the tournament, spread across six teams. The inaugural tournament took place in Dubai in 2022.
