Sara Joanne Cyzer (née Cox; born 13 December 1974) is an English broadcaster. She presented ''Radio 1 Breakfast'' on BBC Radio 1 from 3 April 2000 until 19 December 2003. Since January 2019 she now hosts the BBC Radio 2 drivetime show, Monday–Friday 4pm–7pm. ''The Girlie Show'' is a British television programme that aired on Channel 4 from 26 January 1996 to 28 February 1997. Emma Louise Boughton (born 27 November 1970), better known as Emma B, is a radio presenter in the UK. Early career Boughton's childhood was spent in Canada before she moved to Birmingham, England as a teenager. She graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA in English and Drama, staying on as a sabbatical officer organising all the live events and skiing competitively for the university. Mark Hamilton (born 30 October 1970) is a physician and broadcaster. He is presenter of '' How Long Will You Live?'' on RTÉ One and former presenter of '' The Surgery'' on BBC Radio 1. Education and medical training Hamilton graduated from medical school with an MB ChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery). He then went on to specialize in several fields such as Orthopedic surgery, Geriatric medicine and Anaesthetics, and lectured Anatomy and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Manchester. ''The Surgery'' was a British radio show that aired on BBC Radio 1 weekly from 1999 to 2017. It was most recently hosted by Katie Thistleton and Doctor Radha Modgil, prior to its merger in November 2017 with a new show entitled '' Radio 1's Life Hacks''. History The show first began with Sara Cox on 19 September 1999, then was joint-hosted by Emma B.
