Sanyasi Raja
''Sanyasi Raja'' is a Bengali drama film directed by Piyush Bose and produced by Asim Sarkar. This film was released on 3 October 1975 in the banner of Usha Films and is based on the real life incident of the Bhawal case. The film starred Uttam Kumar and Supriya Devi in lead role. The noted music of this film composed by Nachiketa Ghosh. The film was remade in Telugu in 1977 as '' Raja Ramesh''. Plot Zamindar Surya Kishore never looks after his family and estate. Doctor Bijoy Chakraborty is a family friend of Surya and lives in the same house. He plans to kill Surya and forces Surya's wife Indu to keep quiet. In a burning ghat, a monk saves the life of Surya, but, back at his home, he finds that his whole property is already occupied by Dr Bijoy. Surya Kishore now plans to recover his lost estate. Shyamal Mitra
Shyamal Mitra (14 January 1929 – 15 November 1987) was an Indian versatile playback singer and music director along with Hemanta Mukherjee and Manna Dey. Mitra had also worked in many Hindi and Bengali films as a music director and film producer. He was the most notable musician of the golden era of Bengali music industry. His baritone voice reflected a range of emotions. Jisshu Ujjwal Sengupta (born 15 March 1977) is an Indian actor, producer, television presenter. who predominantly works in Bengali, Hindi and Telugu films. Sengupta made his debut through a Bengali TV series, '' Mahaprabhu'' where he portrayed the role of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu; the role gained him much recognition. Subsequently, he made his film debut with ''Priyojon'' (1997), which became a debacle at the box office. ''Ek Je Chhilo Raja'' is an Indian Bengali drama film directed by Srijit Mukherji, under the banner of SVF Entertainment Pvt Ltd, starring Jisshu Sengupta in the titular role of Maharaja Mahendra Kumar Chowdhury as well as the Bhawal sanyasi.
