Santilli, Ray
Ray Santilli (born 30 September 1958) is a British musician, record and film producer. He is best known for his exploitation in 1995 of the controversial "alien autopsy" footage and subject of the Warner Bros. film ''Alien Autopsy''. Early life Born in London, Santilli was the son of Italian immigrants. He spent his childhood in Islington London. Career Ray Santilli started his professional career in 1974 as a session musician, record producer and music distributor. In 1982, Santilli founded AMP Entertainment, where he produced and promoted acts of the day. In 1981, Santilli produced The Tweets album which featured "The Birdy Song". In 1985 he founded Music Broadcasting Services Ltd, an independent record label which handled the exclusive rights to the Walt Disney Audio Soundtrack Catalogue in the United Kingdom. Dollar were a pop vocal duo from the United Kingdom, consisting of David Van Day and Canadian-born Thereza Bazar. The duo were successful in the late 1970s and 1980s, achieving ten UK top-40 singles, including the top-10 hits " Love's Gotta Hold on Me" (1979), "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" (1979), " Mirror Mirror" (1981), "Give Me Back My Heart" (1982) and " O L'amour" (1987). History Formation Thereza Bazar and David Van Day met at 17 when they successfully auditioned for the cabaret act Guys 'n' Dolls. The group enjoyed a number of hit singles in the mid-1970s and during this time Van Day and Bazar became romantically involved. Gary Shoefield is a television and film producer. Shoefield was portrayed in the 2006 film 'Alien Autopsy' by Ant McPartlin having been involved with the now infamous faked footage from the beginning with business partner and friend Ray Santilli. Shoefield’s son is Luke Brandon Field best known for playing Christoph in Jojo Rabbit (film) and in the upcoming The Flash (film) Career Shoefield was involved in various roles with children's television programmes, such as ''Pinky and Perky, Tales of the Riverbank'' and ''The Magic Roundabout''. In 1990 he collaborated with the F.A.B. group which had a few hits by sampling movie dialogues to electronic music. The Roswell incident was an event that occurred in 1947, pertaining to the recovery of mundane metallic and rubber debris from a military balloon that crashed near Corona, New Mexico by United States Army Air Forces officers from Roswell Army Air Field. Decades later, conspiracy theories began claiming that the debris involved a flying saucer and that the truth had been covered up by the United States government.: "Flight 4 was launched June 4, 1947, from Alamogordo Army Air Field and tracked flying northeast toward Corona.
