Santiago Fujimori
Santiago Fujimori Inomoto (born 3 December 1946) is a Peruvian lawyer, politician and a former congressman, representing Lima for the 2006–2011 term. Fujimori is of Japanese descent. He is the younger brother of former President Alberto Fujimori who was the President of Peru from 1990 until his downfall in 2000 and the uncle of Keiko Fujimori and Kenji Fujimori. During his brother's presidency, he served as an advisor. Early life and education Fujimori graduated from the National University of San Marcos, where he earned a bachelor's degree in 1974 and a law degree in 1975. Congress Of The Republic Of Peru
The Congress of the Republic of Peru ( es, Congreso de la República) is the unicameral body that assumes legislative power in Peru. Congress' composition is established by Chapter I of Title IV of the Constitution of Peru. General elections were held in Peru in on 9 April 2006 to elect the President, two Vice-Presidents, 120 members of Congress and five members of the Andean Parliament for the 2006–2011 period. As the no presidential candidate received a majority of the vote, a second round was held on 4 June between the top two candidates, Ollanta Humala and Alan García. As no presidential candidate received a majority in the first round, a second round was held on 5 June to determine the successor of outgoing president Alan García.
