Santiago Ignacio Bueno Sciutto (born 9 November 1998) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers and the Uruguay national team. Club career Peñarol Born in Montevideo, Bueno joined Peñarol in 2009, aged ten. On 5 January 2016, he was promoted to the first team squad. Bueno made his unofficial first team debut on 23 January 2016, playing the entire second-half of a 1–1 draw against Club Libertad in the Copa Antel friendly tournament. Christian Rivera Hernández (born 9 July 1997) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Sporting de Gijón. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. In its original format, the winners were assured a place in the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League group stage, however this place was forfeited under the extraordinary circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain, with the two finalists (Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad) opting instead to delay the date of the postponed match.
