Santeros de Aguada was a Puerto Rican professional basketball team of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional. The team was based in Aguada, Puerto Rico. The team moved to Fajardo in 2021, changing their name and re-branding to Cariduros de Fajardo with the move. History The team was founded in 1992 and participated in the now defunct ''Liga Puertorriqueña de Baloncesto'' during seven seasons before folding in 1998 due to financial problems. In 2016 the team was refounded and joined the Baloncesto Superior Nacional for the 2016 season with the purchase of the Maratonistas de Coamo franchise and later relocation to Aguada, Puerto Rico.Entusiasmo por los Santeros

Baloncesto Superior Nacional
The Baloncesto Superior Nacional, abbreviated as BSN, is the first-tier-level professional men's basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1929 and is organized by the Puerto Rican Basketball Federation. The Baloncesto Superior Nacional, which is played under FIBA rules of basketball, rules, currently consists of 12 teams, of which the most successful has been the Vaqueros de Bayamón with 16 titles as of 2022. The league has produced players that have distinguished themselves in the National Basketball Association, NBA, EuroLeague, Spain's Liga ACB, ACB, and other tournaments throughout the world. Sean Curtis Green (born February 2, 1970) is an American former professional basketball player, a USA Triathlon-certified triathlon coach, and former head coach of the girls' basketball team at the Convent of the Sacred Heart Prep School. He presently resides in California, works in sports performance and hosts a podcast named The “Let Me Cook” podcast. Playing career Green began his high school career playing for August Martin High School and the AAU program at Riverside Church that also featured Malik Sealy and Kenny Anderson. Danya Abrams (born September 24, 1974) is an American former basketball player who played for the Boston College Eagles during his time in the NCAA. He played professionally in Spain for Malaga, Sevilla, and Granada while in Greece for Apallon, Maroussi, and AEP Petras. He is from Greenburgh, New York. Lamar Patterson (born August 12, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the South West Metro Pirates of the NBL1 North. He played college basketball for the Pittsburgh Panthers.
