Sanremo Music Festival 2010
The Sanremo Music Festival 2010 was the 60th annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, province of Imperia, during the five nights between 16 February 2010 and 20 February 2010. The show was broadcast by Rai 1 and presented by Antonella Clerici. Its artistic director was Gianmarco Mazzi. As in most of the previous years, the competition was divided in two sections. The "Big Artists Section", including 15 established Italian artists, was won by Valerio Scanu with the song "Per tutte le volte che...", while the "Newcomers Section" was won by Tony Maiello, performing "Il linguaggio della resa". For the first time, the rules of the festival were modified so that songs with lyrics in an Italian dialect or written by non-Italian writers were allowed to compete in the festival. Antonella Clerici
Antonella Clerici (; born in Legnano on 6 December 1963) is an Italian television host and journalist. Biography She debuted in 1985 in Telereporter as a TV announcer. In 1987, she switched to Rai 2 where she presented ''Semaforo giallo'', ''Oggi sport'' and later two popular sports programs, ''Dribbling'' and ''Domenica Sprint''. Fabrizio Moro
Fabrizio Mobrici (born 9 April 1975), known by his stage name Fabrizio Moro, is an Italian singer-songwriter. He released his debut album in 2000 and he achieved commercial success in 2007, after winning the Newcomers' Section of the Sanremo Music Festival with his entry "Pensa". The song became a number-one hit in Italy, while the album with the same title was certified gold by the Italian Music Industry Federation. Marco Castoldi (born 23 December 1972), better known by his stage name Morgan, is an Italian singer and musician. Irene Grandi (born 6 December 1969) is an Italian singer and songwriter. Gaetano "Nino" D'Angelo (born 21 June 1957) is an Italian singer, songwriter, actor, television personality, film director, screenwriter and author. He was born to a poor family in San Pietro a Patierno, a suburb of Naples, and dropped out of school, taking jobs like ice cream vendor and wedding singer.
