Sanjit Saha (born 4 November 1997) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for Rangpur Division. He made his first-class debut on 8 February 2015 in the National Cricket League. In December 2015, he was named in Bangladesh's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In October 2018, he was named in the squad for the Comilla Victorians team, following the draft for the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League. He made his Twenty20 debut for the Comilla Victorians in the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League on 2 February 2019. Rangpur Division Cricket Team
The Rangpur Division cricket team is a Bangladeshi first-class team representing the Rangpur Division, the northernmost of the seven administrative regions in Bangladesh. The team competes in the National Cricket League (NCL). Their home venue is the Rangpur Cricket Garden in Rangpur City. Rangpur are a recent addition to the NCL, having joined in 2011–12, and won their first title in 2014–15. The equivalent team in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is the Rangpur Riders. The Rangpur Riders ( Rangpuriya/ bn, রংপুর রাইডার্স), is a professional cricket team based in Rangpur City, Rangpur. The Riders, compete in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the premier cricket league in Bangladesh. The Rangpur Riders, joined the league as a member in 2013, prior to the second edition of the tournament. Although the ownership of the team changed multiple times, the team structure stayed at its original form since the foundation of the team. The 2019–20 BPL season, also known as BPL 7 or Bangabandhu BPL Presented by Akash DTH and Powered by TVS (for sponsorship reasons), was the seventh season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top level professional Twenty20 cricket league in Bangladesh. The competition was organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The season was scheduled to originally start from 6 December 2019 and end on 11 January 2020, with the opening ceremony to be held on 3 December 2019. Comilla Victorians were the defending champions. However, the tournament was delayed by five days and started on 11 December 2019 and ended on 17 January 2020, with the opening ceremony held on 8 December 2019. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The 2018–19 BPL season, also known as BPL 6 or UCB BPL 2019 Powered by TVS (for sponsorship reasons), was the sixth season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the top level professional Twenty20 cricket franchise league in Bangladesh. The competition was organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), featuring seven teams from seven cities. Comilla Victorians ( bn, কুমিল্লা ভিক্টোরিয়ান্স) is a Bangladeshi professional men's cricket team which competes in the Bangladesh Premier League, a Twenty20 cricket league. The team is based in Cumilla City, Cumilla. Comilla Victorians are one of the most successful teams in the BPL, having been crowned champions three times.
