Sanjay M. Khanduri is an Indian film director from Bollywood, best known for the directing ''Ek Chalis Ki Last Local ''. Film career He started his career as an investigative correspondent for news channel TV18. He was second assistant director in the Taal (1999) and as Chief associate director in Dil Hai Tumhara (2002). Khanduri feature film debut as a director was 2007 film ''Ek Chalis Ki Last Local '', starring Abhay Deol and Neha Dhupia along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. ''Ek Chalis Ki Last Local'' (English: ''Last Local of 1:40'') is a 2007 Indian Bollywood adventure comedy thriller directed by Sanjay Khanduri, starring Abhay Deol opposite Neha Dhupia in lead roles. The film released on 18 May 2007, and received positive critical response but poor commercial response upon its release. Plot The story revolves around two people who miss the last local train at 1:40 am at Kurla Station and how it changes the rest of their lives forever. The protagonist Nilesh works in a call centre firm cultivated by the men-centric IT Industry. Night shifts, booze, beer parties seem to occur day-by-day. ''Kismet Love Paisa Dilli'' () is a 2012 Bollywood comedy thriller film directed by Sanjay Khanduri. The film features Vivek Oberoi opposite Malika Sherawat in lead roles. It was released on 5 October 2012. Plot The film is set on a winter night in Delhi where a middle class, Delhi university guy falls in love with a girl anchoring a fashion show. In the process of wooing her, someone plants a sting operation tape in his pocket. This sting operation has a minister talking of buying and selling MLAs and media heads from his Swiss bank accounts. Unknowing, he is chased by corrupt cops and good guys to get that tape back. Soon he gets to know of tape with him and its high relevance.
