Sanibal Orahovac
Sanibal Orahovac (Cyrillic: Санибал Ораховац; born 12 December 1978) is a Montenegrin former professional footballer who played as a striker or attacking midfielder. Career Born in Titograd, what is now Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, he started playing football at the local club Mladost Podgorica, where he became a member of the first team in 1997 and subsequently played two seasons before transferring to another local but more established club, Budućnost Podgorica, in 1999. He played for Budućnost in the following two seasons and went on to leave the club for Red Star Belgrade in 2001, subsequently spending three seasons with the Serbian club before moving abroad and signing with Portuguese club Vitória de Guimarães in the summer of 2004. He only played for Vitória in the 2004–05 season and managed to make only six domestic league appearances for the club without scoring any goals. Podgorica (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Подгорица, ; Literal translation, lit. 'under the hill') is the Capital city, capital and List of cities and towns in Montenegro, largest city of Montenegro. The Serbia and Montenegro Cup was an association football knockout cup tournament of Serbia and Montenegro played between 1992 and 2006, after which Serbia and Montenegro became separate nations. The competition was the continuation of the old Marshal Tito Cup of the SFR Yugoslavia, and it was named FR Yugoslavia Cup between 1992 and 2003, when the official name of the country was Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The 2003–04 First League of Serbia and Montenegro was the second and first full season of the Serbia and Montenegro's top-level football league since its establishment. It was contested by 16 teams, and Red Star Belgrade won the championship. The First League of Serbia and Montenegro ( sr, Прва савезна лига / Prva savezna liga) was the top football league of Serbia and Montenegro, before the country's dissolution in 2006. The league was formed following the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1992, effectively succeeding the Yugoslav First League. The league was renamed the Serbia and Montenegro SuperLiga prior to its final 2005–06 season. From 1993 to 1998, the league abandoned the traditional single-league structure, which was used in the first season, and the division was split into two groups; Group A (known as IA) for the top-seeded teams and Group B (IB) for the other teams.
