Sang Jijia
Sang Jijia () is a Chinese choreographer. He was a dancer with Guangdong Modern Dance Company and City Contemporary Dance Company in the 1990s. Sang then studied with William Forsythe and worked with The Forsythe Company as choreographer and dancer until 2006. City Contemporary Dance Company
City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC; ) is a modern dance company in Hong Kong. Dr Willy Tsao founded the company in 1979, and he was the Artistic Director from 1989 to 2019. In May 2020, Yuri Ng was appointed as the 4th Artistic Director, succeeding Tsao. The company is supported by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. CCDC has presented more than 200 original works, including productions by Tsao and other leading choreographers, such as Helen Lai, Mui Cheuk-yin, Pun Siu-fai and Yuri Ng. William Forsythe (dancer)
William Forsythe (born December 30, 1949) is an American dancer and choreographer resident in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He is known for his work with the Ballet Frankfurt (1984–2004) and The Forsythe Company (2005–2015). Recognized for the integration of ballet and visual arts, which displayed both abstraction and forceful theatricality, his vision of choreography as an organizational practice has inspired him to produce numerous installations, films, and web-based knowledge creation, incorporating the spoken word and experimental music. The Forsythe Company
The Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company is a contemporary dance ensemble of eighteen dancers based in Dresden and Frankfurt, Germany. It was founded in 2005 as The Forsythe Company by American choreographer William Forsythe following the closure of the Frankfurt Ballet (german: Ballett Frankfurt, link=no), established in 1963.
