Sanel Ibrahimović
Sanel Ibrahimović (born 24 November 1987) is a Bosnian footballer who plays for the Luxembourgish club FC Wiltz 71 as a forward. He spent most of his career in the Luxembourg National Division, with over 200 appearances and 100 goals between four teams. During his time at Jeunesse Esch and F91 Dudelange, he won four each of the league title and Luxembourg Cup. He was the Luxembourgish Footballer of the Year in 2013–14 and the league's top scorer three times. Club career Born in Tuzla, then in the SFR Yugoslavia, Ibrahimović was in the youth system of FK Sloboda Tuzla from the age of 6, until at 16 his family moved to Luxembourg. He returned to the Balkans and became a futsal professional in Croatia before returning to Luxembourg in 2008, settling with his family in Wiltz, a northern city with a large Bosnian community. The 2010–11 Luxembourg National Division (also known as ''BGL Ligue'' due to sponsorship reasons) was the 97th season of top-tier football in Luxembourg. It began on 7 August 2010 and ended on 20 May 2011. Jeunesse Esch went into the season as the defending champions having won their 28th Luxembourgian championship during the 2009–10 season. Team changes from 2009–10 Rumelange and Mondercange were relegated to the Division of Honour after finishing 13th and 14th in the previous season. They were replaced by 2009–10 Division of Honour champions Wiltz 71 and runners-up Jeunesse Canach. Käerjéng 97 as 12th-placed team had to compete in a single play-off match against 3rd-placed Division of Honour side Oberkorn. Stade Josy Barthel
The Stade Josy Barthel is the former national stadium of Luxembourg, and the former home of the Luxembourg national football team. The stadium, which also hosted rugby union and athletics events, is located on route d'Arlon, in the Luxembourg City quarter of Belair. Following the opening of the Stade de Luxembourg in September 2021, the stadium and its grounds are currently due for demolition and redevelopment. FC Differdange 03
Foussballclub Differdange 03 is a football club based in Differdange, Luxembourg. History Differdange 03 was formed in 2003 as an amalgam of two clubs from the city of Differdange: FA Red Boys Differdange and AS Differdange. When the clubs merged, in time for the 2003–04 season, Red Boys was languishing in the bottom half of the Division of Honour, while AS was in mid-table position in the third tier of Luxembourgian football. The new club took Red Boys league position, and was promoted back into the National Division in the 2005–06 season, when the top division was expanded from twelve clubs to fourteen. Red Boys Differdange had previously been one of the largest and most successful teams in Luxembourgian football, having won the Luxembourg Cup more times than any other team (15).
