Sandringham is a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. It is a suburb that lies close to Glenhazel and Sydenham. It is located in Region E of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality. Sandton is an upscale commercial and residential district north of the city of Johannesburg, South Africa. It forms part of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality. The name of the city came from the combination of two of its suburbs, Sandown and Bryanston. In 1969, Sandton was promulgated as a municipality in its own right, but lost its status as an independent city after the re-organisation of South African local governments after Apartheid ended.
