Sandra Nasić
Sandra Nasić (born 25 May 1976) is a German singer best known as the vocalist of the rock band Guano Apes. Career Nasić was born in Göttingen, West Germany, where she grew up with her Croatian mother and sister. After she received her high school diploma, Nasić considered studying design, but decided to pursue a music career with the rock band Guano Apes, which she joined in 1994. The band's career took off in 1996 after they won the "Local Heroes" competition held by VIVA, beating out over 1,000 competitors with their song " Open Your Eyes". The band's debut album, ''Proud Like a God'', peaked at No. 4 in Germany in 1997. Their next two albums, ''Don't Give Me Names'' (2000) and ''Walking on a Thin Line'' (2003) both reached No. 1. Guano Apes are a German rock band formed in 1994 in Göttingen. The band consists of Sandra Nasić (vocals), Henning Rümenapp (guitars, backing vocals), Stefan Ude (bass, backing vocals), and Dennis Poschwatta (drums, backing vocals). AllMusic calls the quartet alt-rock and their sound a fusion of metal, pop, and rap. They have released five studio albums, one live album, two compilation albums, and five video albums. "Beat of Life" is a 2003 single by DJ Tomekk from his second album '' Beat of Life Vol. 1''. It features guest vocal appearances from American rappers Ice-T and Trigga tha Gambler, as well as Guano Apes vocalist Sandra Nasić. The song peaked at No. 12 in Germany. Moses Pelham
Moses Pelham (born 24 February 1971 in Frankfurt) is a German rapper, singer and producer. In 1993, together with Thomas Hofmann in Frankfurt, he started the Rödelheim Hartreim Projekt. Pelham is a member of the German band Glashaus. In 2019, in a lawsuit against the German band Kraftwerk, Pelham lost a groundbreaking in the European Court of Justice for unauthorised sampling. The ruling means that samples which are recognisable infringe copyright law where no permission has been sought from the rightsholder. However, there is no infringement if the sample is unrecognisable. The case was referred back to the German court who gave the final decision. The German court decided that the sample was recognisable, and therefore ultimately, Pelham lost his 20 year legal saga. Sarah Connor (born Sarah Marianne Corina Lewe; 13 June 1980) is a German singer and songwriter. ''X Factor'' is the German version of '' The X Factor'', a show originating from the United Kingdom. It is a television music talent show contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions. The show's inaugural German season started in August 2010. RTL broadcast the first two kick-off shows. The other episodes have been shown on VOX. Both channels are part of Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland. The seasons 1-3 of X Factor were produced by Grundy Light Entertainment, another RTL Group company. Season 4 is produced by UFA Show & Factual by Sky.
