Sandra Bruflot
Sandra Bruflot (born 31 December 1991) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. She represents Buskerud at the Storting from 2021. Political career Hailing from Lier, Bruflot was a member of the municipal council of Lier from 2011 to 2019, as well of the county council of Buskerud from 2015 to 2019. From 2013 to 2017 she was deputy representative to the Storting. She is member of the county council of Viken from 2019, and was elected representative to the Storting from the constituency of Buskerud for the period 2021–2025, for the Conservative Party. In the Storting, she was member of the Standing Committee on Health and Care Services from 2021. The Conservative Party or The Right ( nb, Høyre, nn, Høgre, , H; se, Olgešbellodat) is a liberal-conservative political party in Norway. It is the major party of the Norwegian centre-right, and was the leading party in government as part of the Solberg cabinet from 2013 to 2021. Buskerud () is a former county and a current electoral district in Norway, bordering Akershus, Oslo, Oppland, Sogn og Fjordane, Hordaland, Telemark and Vestfold. Viken (county)
Viken is a county under disestablishment in Eastern Norway that was established on 1 January 2020 by the merger of Akershus, Buskerud and Østfold with the addition of three other municipalities. Viken was controversial from the onset, with an approval rating of about 20% in the region, and the merger was resisted by all the three counties. Viken has been compared to gerrymandering. The county executive of Viken determined in 2019, before the merger had taken effect, that the county's disestablishment is its main political goal, and the formal process to dissolve Viken was initiated by the county executive in right after the 2021 Norwegian parliamentary election in which parties seeking to reverse the merger won a majority.
