Sander Puri
Sander Puri (born 7 May 1988) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Meistriliiga club Tartu Tammeka and the Estonia national team. Club career Levadia Puri was born in Tartu, Tartu County. In 2005, at the age of 16, Puri started his professional career with FCI Levadia Tallinn. He scored his first Meistriliiga goal on 1 June 2005, in a 2–0 victory over Kuressaare. On 30 July 2007, Sander and his twin brother Eino Puri joined Tulevik a half-year loan. He played 14 league matches, scoring four goals. In 2008, Puri had two trials with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and in late 2009 with Scottish Premier League club Celtic. Eino Puri (born 7 May 1988) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Trysil FK. Club career Puri began his professional career with Tartu SK 10 before signing for FCI Levadia Tallinn in 2005. From 2011 to 2016 he played for Nõmme Kalju. International career Puri was capped by Estonia at under-19, under-21 and under-23 level. FC Kuressaare, commonly known as Kuressaare, is a professional football club, based in Kuressaare, Saaremaa, Estonia. The club's home ground is Kuressaare linnastaadion. Meistriliiga (, known as the A. Le Coq Premium Liiga for sponsorship reasons) is the highest division of the Estonian Football Association annual football (soccer), football championship. The league was founded in 1992, and was initially semi-professional with amateur clubs allowed to compete. With the help of solidarity mechanisms, the league is fully professional since the 2020 Meistriliiga, 2020 season. As in most countries with low temperatures in winter time, the season starts in March and ends in November. Meistriliiga consists of ten clubs, all teams play each other four times.
