Pietro Da Cortona
Pietro da Cortona (; 1 November 1596 or 159716 May 1669) was an Italian Baroque painter and architect. Along with his contemporaries and rivals Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Francesco Borromini, he was one of the key figures in the emergence of Roman Baroque architecture. He was also an important designer of interior decorations. He was born Pietro Berrettini, but is primarily known by the name of his native town of Cortona in Tuscany. Pietro Paolo Baldini
Pietro Paolo Baldini (1614?-1684?) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period. Biography Lived around the middle of the century XVII, the place of both birth and death are not known. Baldini was never taken into consideration by critics: only Lanzi (1789) pronounced a judgment on the basis of the works seen in the churches of Rome and in particular in St. Eustachio. He was active in mid 17th century in Rome, emerging as a pupil and one of the most faithful followers of Pietro da Cortona's style. Ercole Ferrata
Ercole Ferrata ( 1610 – 10 July 1686) was an Italian sculptor of the Roman Baroque. Biography A native of Pellio Inferiore, near Como, Ferrata initially apprenticed with Alessandro Algardi, and became one of his prime assistants. When his mentor died, Ferrata and another pupil, Domenico Guidi, completed Algardi's unfinished ''Vision of Saint Nicholas'' at San Nicola da Tolentino; ultimately, the innovative arrangement of two independent but interactive groups derives from the original design by Algardi. Domenico Guidi
Domenico Guidi (1625 – 28 March 1701) was a prominent Italian Baroque sculptor. Born in Carrara, Guidi followed his uncle, Giuliano Finelli, a prominent sculptor noted for his feud with Bernini, to Naples. When he fled Naples in 1647 during Masaniello's revolt, in Rome he joined the studio of Bernini's main competitor Alessandro Algardi with whom he remained until his master's death. While in Algardi's studio, he worked on projects with another pupil, Ercole Ferrata. For example, both helped complete their master's unfinished ''Vision of Saint Nicholas'' (completed 1655) at the church of '' San Nicola da Tolentino''.
