San Marcos Unified School District
San Marcos Unified School District (SMUSD) is a public school district based in San Marcos, California, and includes 19 schools with educational programs for kindergarten through adult education students. SMUSD serves San Marcos, as well as sections of Vista, Escondido, Carlsbad, and some unincorporated areas of the county. Escondido is a city in San Diego County, California, United States. Located in the North County region, it was incorporated in 1888, and is one of the oldest cities in San Diego County.
