San Francisco Unicorns
The San Francisco Unicorns are an American franchise cricket team based in San Francisco, California that competes in Major League Cricket (MLC). In 2023, it was announced as one of the six teams to participate in the league's inaugural season. The team is owned by Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan, co-founders of Cambrian ventures. Plans are underway to build a stadium at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. The stadium is expected to have a capacity of 15,000 people. During the first MLC season the team will play at Grand Prairie stadium in Texas. In March 2023, Cricket Victoria announced their partnership with the Unicorns for the opening season. Off spin is a type of finger spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners are right arm, right-handed spin bowling, spin bowlers who use their fingers to spin the ball. Finnley Hugh Allen (born 22 April 1999) is a New Zealand International cricketer, who has played for the New Zealand cricket team since March 2021. He plays domestic cricket for Wellington, and has played in a variety of T20 Franchise leagues, including for RCB in the IPL. Fast bowling (also referred to as pace bowling) is one of two main approaches to bowling in the sport of cricket, the other being spin bowling.
