Ryan Shaw (soccer)
Ryan Christopher Shaw (born December 25, 1980) is an American soul musician from Georgia. He is part of the soul-revival movement in music and has been nominated for a Grammy three times, in the category of Best Traditional R&B Performance. Biography Shaw is from Decatur, Georgia. He learned to sing at the Free Church of God in Christ of Atlanta, Georgia and began singing harmony in a church choir at age five. In a 2007 interview, Shaw stated "My church was very traditional, and for a long time the only songs I learned were gospel songs." Shaw won a spot in a gospel musical at Georgia State University, and in 1998 he dropped out of college to take part in Tyler Perry's play ''I Know I've Been Changed''. At the end of the play's run he began doing Motown covers in New York, joining the group Fabulous Soul Shakers in 2004. Mike Zaher
Michael Rory Zaher (born September 24, 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona) is a former American soccer player. Career College and amateur Zaher attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, whom he led to the Nevada high school state championship in 2002; he scored 34 goals as a senior, 25 as a junior, 13 as a sophomore and six as a freshman for a total of 78 career goals. He also led his club soccer team, Las Vegas Premier, to seven Nevada state championships. Zaher played college soccer at UCLA, where he majored in political science. He played in 70 games over four seasons, scoring twice in the run-up to the 2006 NCAA soccer championship game in St. Louis, which UCLA lost 2–1 to UC Santa Barbara. Daniel Paladini
Daniel Paladini (born November 11, 1984 in Northridge, California) is an American soccer player. Career Youth and college Paladini was twice named an all-state selection as a high schooler at St. Francis High School in 2000 and 2001, and played club soccer for Real SoCal for many years. At Cal State Northridge he was a first team All-Big West selection in 2004 and 2005, and scored seven goals and added four assists in 2005 en route to Big West Conference midfielder of the year honors. Professional Paladini was signed to Los Angeles Galaxy's developmental roster in May 2006, having been the club's last selection of the second round (24th overall) of the 2006 MLS Supplemental Draft. He played for both Galaxy and C.D. Chivas USA's reserves during the 2006 season, and was a named substitute on several occasions for Galaxy, but never appeared for either first team, and was waived by the Galaxy at the end of the season. Sean Michael Franklin (born March 21, 1985) is an American former soccer player who played as a defender. Career Youth and amateur Franklin was a three-time letter-winner at Highland High School in Palmdale, California. He was named the Golden League's Most Valuable Player as a senior, and also earned all-area first-team honors in 2003 after helping the Bulldogs to a Golden League crown in 2003. At Cal State Northridge, he was an invaluable member of the Matadors’ defense, starting over 50 games since 2004, being named to the All-Big West Conference team in both 2005 and 2006.
