San Dieguito High School Academy, originally known as San Dieguito Union High School and San Dieguito High School, is a public high school in the San Dieguito Union High School District of Encinitas, California in San Diego County. The school was established in 1936. General information 2,059 students were enrolled at San Dieguito High School Academy in the 2020-21 school year with a senior class of over 450 students. The pupil-teacher ratio is 25:1. The average SAT score in 2013–2014 was 1840 and the average ACT score was 27. San Dieguito Union High School District (SDUHSD) is a public school district in northern San Diego County, California. Established in 1936, the district serves over 13,000 students in five middle schools, five comprehensive high schools, and one alternative high school. SDUHSD is ranked the top school district in the county and #5 school district in the state. History Prior to 1936, students who lived in coastal North County attended high school in Oceanside. Takashi "Tak" Fujimoto, ASC (born July 12, 1939) is an American cinematographer. Fujimoto was born in San Diego, California. He is of Japanese descent. During World War II, he was interned at the Poston War Relocation Center due to Executive Order 9066. A graduate of the London Film School, he has worked with filmmakers Jonathan Demme, M. Jonathan Mark Foreman (born October 22, 1976) is an American musician, the lead singer, guitarist, main songwriter and co-founder of the alternative rock band Switchfoot. He started Switchfoot in 1996 with drummer Chad Butler and his brother Tim Foreman on bass guitar. Jerome Fontamillas and Drew Shirley later joined the band. Personal life Foreman was born in San Bernardino County, California, but his family moved to Massachusetts and Virginia Beach during his childhood. 1965 NBA Draft
The 1965 NBA draft was the 19th annual draft of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The draft was held on May 6, 1965, before the 1965–66 season. In this draft, nine NBA teams took turns selecting amateur U.S. college basketball players. A player who had finished his four-year college eligibility was eligible for selection. If a player left college early, he would not be eligible for selection until his college class graduated. John Russell Fairchild (born April 28, 1943) is a retired American basketball player. Born in Encinitas, California, Fairchild played high school basketball at San Dieguito High School (class of 1961) and college basketball at Brigham Young University. In two years at BYU, he averaged 20.9 points and 12.8 rebounds per game, and was named WAC Player of the Year in his senior season.
