San Diego State Aztecs Women's Volleyball
The San Diego State Aztecs women's volleyball team represents San Diego State University in women's collegiate volleyball. The Aztecs compete in the Mountain West Conference, Mountain West Conference (MW) in Division I (NCAA), Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Brent Hilliard
Brent William Hilliard (born April 13, 1970) is an American volleyball player and coach who competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics. He was born in San Gabriel, California. In 1991 he led Long Beach State to its first NCAA Men's Volleyball Volleyball championship. In 1992 he was a member of the American team which won the bronze medal in the Olympic tournament. Hilliard was Associate Coach for women's volleyball at the University of San Diego for two decades and is currently head coach for women's volleyball at San Diego State University. The 1983 NCAA Division I women's volleyball tournament was the third year of the NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship. It began with 28 teams and ended on December 19 when Hawaii defeated UCLA 3 games to 0 in the NCAA championship match. Hawaii won their second straight title. Long Beach State 49ers
Long Beach State athletics, or simply Beach athletics (previously known as the 49ers), are the athletic teams that represent California State University, Long Beach. Teams compete in 19 sports at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level. The 1989 NCAA Division I women's volleyball tournament began with 32 teams and ended on December 16, 1989, when Long Beach State defeated Nebraska 3 games to 0 in the NCAA championship match. San Jose State Spartans
The San Jose State Spartans are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent San José State University. The Pacific Tigers represent the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, in intercollegiate athletics. The Tigers compete in NCAA Division I, and are currently in their second stint as members of the West Coast Conference (WCC). Hawaii Rainbow Warriors And Rainbow Wahine
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors and Rainbow Wāhine are the athletic teams that represent the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UH), in Honolulu, Hawaii. The UH athletics program is a member of the Big West Conference in most sports and competes at the NCAA Division I level. It comprises seven men's, 12 women's, and two coed athletic teams. Nickname Hawaiʻi athletics began more than a century ago, with the first football team being fielded in 1909. Through 1923, the UH teams were called the "Deans." BYU Cougars
The BYU Cougars are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Brigham Young University (BYU), located in Provo, Utah. BYU fields 21 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) varsity athletic teams. They are a member of the West Coast Conference for most sports.
