Fernando Poe Jr
Ronald Allan Kelley Poe (August 20, 1939 – December 14, 2004), known professionally as Fernando Poe Jr., and often referred to by his initials FPJ, was a Filipino actor, film director, producer, screenwriter, and politician. His long and successful career as an action star earned him the nickname "Da King" (i.e. the "King of Philippine movies"). He also wrote, directed, and produced several of the films he starred in—under the pseudonyms Ronwaldo Reyes and D'Lanor. Poe appeared in around 300 films spanning from 1955 to 2003. The teenage Poe joined the film industry as a stuntman after the untimely death of his father, actor Fernando Poe Sr. His film debut was ''Anak ni Palaris'' (1955), a sequel to a film that starred his father. His breakout came in the 1956 film ''Lo Waist Gang'' and went on to star in action films that portrayed him as the "champion and defender of the poor and oppressed". His notable films include: ''Only the Brave Know Hell'' (1965), Lino Brocka's ...

San Bernardo Alle Terme
San Bernardo alle Terme is a Baroque style, Roman Catholic abbatial church located on Via Torino 94 in the rione Castro Pretorio of Rome, Italy. History The church was built on the remains of a circular tower, which marked a corner in the southwestern perimeter wall of the Baths of Diocletian (its pendant is today part of a hotel building, 225 meters southeast from San Bernardo alle Terme). These two towers flanked a large semicircular exedra; the distance between the towers attests to enormous scale of the original structure. In 1598, under the patronage of Caterina Sforza di Santafiora, this church was built for the French Cistercian group, the Feuillants, under the leadership of Giovanni Barreiro, abbot of Toulouse. Later, after the dissolution of the Feuillants during the French Revolution, the edifice and the annexed monastery were ceded to the Congregation of St. Bernard of Clairvaux, after whom the church is named.

San Bernardo Del Tuyú
San Bernardo del Tuyú is a city in the seaside La Costa District of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. History and overview Founded by the ''Compañía Inmobiliara del Este Argentino S.R.L.'', a partnership of ten investors led by Juan Carlos Chiozza, San Bernardo del Tuyú originated with the 1942 purchase of 191 hectares (480 acres) along the Atlantic Ocean shore from the San Bernardo ranch, one of the Duhau family's many properties in Buenos Aires Province. The land was subdivided into parcels, and installations for an incipient town center were added by the developers. The governor, Dr. Rodolfo Moreno, authorized the town's establishment on April 3, 1943, and the new town was christened by its developers in a 1944 ceremony. The largely self-sufficient settlement initially grew with investments from both the developer and its residents, who pooled resources and established local electric and telephone cooperatives. Closely linked to Mar de Ajó, San Bernardo slowly g ...

San Bernardo, Cundinamarca
San Bernardo () is a municipality and town of Colombia in the department of Cundinamarca. It is 99 km from Bogotá. It is characterized as an agricultural pantry area due to the high fertility of the land and variety of climates. San Bernardo's main products are blackberry and pea, renowned for its excellent quality. Due to its location on the Andes the weather conditions are ruled by the altitude and by the wind from the Páramo Sumapaz; this affects the temperature cooling some areas of the municipality, especially at night, and providing mild weather in some other high altitude areas. History San Bernardo was born from a vast amount of mountain terrain colonized to 1910 on July 22 in the morning when Father Mazo celebrated Mass and said the town was founded in honor of Archbishop of Bogotá Bernardo Herrera Restrepo; it was blessed that day. The bells of chapel were donated by General Charles J. Heredia. In January 1913, the first party enlivened by the band Espin ...
