Samuel Loizou
Samuel Loizou () (born 25 December 2002) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a er for the Parramatta Eels in the National Rugby League (NRL). Playing career Loizou is of Greek Cypriot heritage. In 2019, Loizou represented the Australian Schoolboys being the youngest player in the squad. Loizou was also a part of Parramatta's SG Ball team at 16 years of age winning their best and fairest award in 2019. In 2021, Loizou started training with Parramatta's first grade squad, playing for their Jersey Flegg team and appearing in two games for NSW Cup. In round 25 2021, Loizou made his NRL debut for Parramatta off the bench against the Penrith Panthers at Cbus Super Stadium in a 6–40 loss. Loizou made no appearances for Parramatta in either the 2022 NRL season or the 2023 NRL season. He would instead continue to play for the clubs NSW Cup team. Parramatta Eels
The Parramatta Eels are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the Sydney suburb of Parramatta that competes in the National Rugby League. The Parramatta District Rugby League Football Club was formed in 1947, and their home ground was Parramatta Stadium (formerly Cumberland Oval). As of 2019, Parramatta's home ground stadium has been rebuilt and they now play as the co-tenants at Western Sydney Stadium, which sits on the same site that was once Parramatta Stadium. It took thirty years for the club to make the grand final, which they did in 1976 and 1977, losing on both occasions. However, this period foreshadowed their most successful period in the early 1980s, when they won four premierships and qualified for five grand finals in six seasons. The 2022 NRL season is the 115th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 25th season run by the National Rugby League. Teams The lineup of teams remained unchanged for the 16th consecutive year. This became the second longest stretch of time (after 1947-1966 - 20 seasons) of a continuous line-up of teams in competition history (overtaking 1967-1981 - 15 seasons). Robina Stadium
Robina Stadium, also known by its sponsored name Cbus Super Stadium, is a rectangular football stadium in the Gold Coast suburb of Robina, Queensland. The main usage is as the home ground to the National Rugby League's Gold Coast Titans; this venue sometimes hosts the A-League team Brisbane Roar FC.
