Samuel Di Carmine (born 29 September 1988) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Trento. Career Di Carmine, a powerful striker, made his Serie A debut on 25 October 2006 away to Torino in a 1–0 win. He scored his first goal with the ''viola'' in a 2007–08 UEFA Cup match, the final goal in a clear 6–1 win to IF Elfsborg on 8 November 2007. The 2007–08 UEFA Cup was the 37th edition of the UEFA Cup, UEFA's second-tier club football tournament. The final was played at the City of Manchester Stadium, Manchester, England on 14 May 2008 between Rangers of Scotland and Zenit Saint Petersburg of Russia. Co-ownership (football)
Co-ownership is a system whereby two football clubs own the contract of a player jointly, although the player is only registered to play for one club. It is not a universal system, but is used in some countries, including Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. It was formerly commonplace in Italy, though the practice has now been abolished there. This type of deal differs from third-party ownership, in that in the latter, the player's contract is owned by a non-footballing entity, such as a management company. Italy Co-ownership deals were common in Italian football, before being banned at the end of the 2014–15 season. The practice was sanctioned in Article 102 bis of the FIGC Internal Organizational Regulations (''Norme Organizzative Interne della FIGC'') and were officially known as "participation rights" (''diritti di partecipazione''). Flavio Briatore (; born 12 April 1950) is an Italian businessman. He started his career as a restaurant manager and insurance salesman in Italy. Briatore was convicted in Italy on several fraud charges in the 1980s, receiving two prison sentences, though the convictions were later extinguished by an amnesty. Briatore set up a number of successful Benetton franchises as a fugitive in the Virgin Islands and the United States.
