Samsung ZEQ 9000
The Samsung ZEQ 9000 (product code: SM-Z9000 for the single SIM, and SM-Z9005 for dual SIM) was planned to be the first Tizen smartphone to be released commercially by Samsung. It was announced at MWC 2014. This trademark was denied in both US and Korea for the moment. It was believed that the a product heading to selected markets (Russia, UK and France) is SM-Z910F, but then later conflicting reports say there are no release plans for Samsung SM-Z910F. Tizen
Tizen () is a Linux-based mobile operating system backed by the Linux Foundation, mainly developed and used primarily by Samsung Electronics. The project was originally conceived as an HTML5-based platform for mobile devices to succeed MeeGo. Samsung merged its previous Linux-based OS effort, Bada, into Tizen, and has since used it primarily on platforms such as wearable devices and smart TVs. Much of Tizen is open source software, although the software development kit contains proprietary components owned by Samsung, and portions of the OS are licensed under the Flora License, a derivative of the Apache License 2.0 that grants a patent license only to "Tizen certified platforms".
