Samori Toure (American Football)
Samori David Toure (born March 24, 1998) is an American football wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Montana Grizzlies football, Montana before transferring to Nebraska Cornhuskers football, Nebraska. Professional career Toure was selected in the seventh round (258th overall) by the Green Bay Packers in the 2022 NFL Draft. He signed his rookie contract on May 6, 2022. He made the initial 53-man roster to begin the 2022 Green Bay Packers season, 2022 season, but was inactive for the first six games. He saw his first NFL action on October 23, 2022, catching one pass for four yards in a Week 7 loss to the Washington Commanders. On October 30, he caught his first NFL touchdown, a 37-yard pass from Aaron Rodgers, during a week 8 loss to the Buffalo Bills. 2022 Green Bay Packers Season
The 2022 season was the Green Bay Packers' 102nd in the National Football League (NFL), their 104th overall and fourth under head coach Matt LaFleur. The team achieved the most wins in NFL history when they beat the Chicago Bears in Week 13, who held the record at every season’s end since 1921 and were tied with the Packers for a three-week stretch leading up to the game. However, despite a 3–1 start, the Packers started to collapse. Aaron Charles Rodgers (born December 2, 1983) is an American football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). The 2022 NFL Draft was the 87th edition of the National Football League's annual draft and was held from April 28–30, 2022, at the Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The first round was held on Thursday, April 28, and was followed by the second and third rounds on Friday, April 29. The draft concluded with rounds 4–7 on Saturday, April 30. It was the first draft to be held in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The first five selections were defensive players, the second-most taken at the start of a draft after the six in 1991.
