Sammy Stewart (born 25 November 1990 in Portadown, Northern Ireland) is a Northern Irish former professional football player. Career Glenavon Stewart started his career with the Irish Premier League side Glenavon in 2007. Aberdeen In May 2008, Stewart signed a two-year deal with Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen. after the club buying him for a reported £15,000 from Glenavon FC. He scored his first goal for The Dons in a friendly against Inverurie on 5 August 2008. His first (and only) competitive appearance for Aberdeen was on 24 May 2009, when he replaced Sone Aluko in the last game of the season against Hibernian. On 5 January 2010, he was released by Aberdeen by mutual consent. Return to Glenavon In August 2010, Stewart returned to Glenavon, signing a one-year deal. Craigavon, County Armagh
Craigavon ( ) () is a town in northern County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Its construction began in 1965 and it was named after the first Prime Minister of Northern Ireland: James Craig, 1st Viscount Craigavon. It was intended to be the heart of a new Linear settlement, linear city incorporating Lurgan and Portadown, but this plan was mostly abandoned and later described as having been flawed. Among local people today, "Craigavon" refers to the area between the two towns. It is built beside a pair of artificial lakes and is made up of a large residential area (Brownlow), a second smaller one (Mandeville), plus a central area (Highfield) that includes a substantial shopping centre, a courthouse and the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon District Council, district council headquarters. Omatsone Folarin "Sone" Aluko (born 19 February 1989) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Ipswich Town and the Nigeria national team. Aluko began his career at Birmingham City, graduating from the club's academy to make his senior debut in 2007. He joined Aberdeen on loan in the 2007–08 season and was loaned to Blackpool at the beginning of the 2008–09 season. After just two appearances for Blackpool, he signed for Aberdeen permanently in August 2008. He left Aberdeen in July 2011 at the end of his contract. Thomas Stewart, (born 12 November 1986), is a Northern Irish footballer who is currently a free agent. He is known for his long range shooting and precise finishing. Playing career Wolverhampton Wanderers As an apprentice Stewart was the youth team's top goalscorer and played in a FA Youth semi-final against Southampton in 2005, but never made the breakthrough to first team football. Linfield After returning from England he signed a full-time contract with the Blues on 11 September 2006. He scored on his debut v Limavady on the 30th, but subsequently was used mostly as a wide midfielder by David Jeffrey. He moved to Derry City following successful seasons at Linfield.
