Sammy Tak Lee
Samuel Tak Lee or Lee Tak-Yee (; born April 1939) is a Hong Kong property billionaire. Early life Lee was born in April 1939. He was educated at Diocesan Boys' School in Mong Kok, before earning bachelor's and master's degrees in civil and environmental engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1964. Lee then earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. Career After finishing his studies, Lee returned to Hong Kong to join Prudential Enterprise, the real estate company founded by his father and uncle in 1958. He took control of the entire business from his brother Lee Tak-Yan in 1985. Prudential Enterprises owns the Prudential Hotel in Hong Kong and has significant holdings in Hong Kong, Japan, Switzerland and Singapore. Sammy Lee (born Samuel Lee, 1958 – 21 July 2012) was an expert on fertility and in vitro fertilisation He was a hospital scientific consultant and was the chief scientist at the Wellington IVF programme. His book ''Counselling in Male Infertility'' was published in 1996; he contributed to major newspaper articles and appeared on several current affairs television programmes. He was the "inspiration" for ''Anthony Ling'', the character in the novel ''One Life'' by Rebecca Frayn (Simon & Schuster 2006, ), after the author herself sought Lee's help for IVF treatment. Samuel Lee (August 1, 1920 – December 2, 2016) was an American physician and diver. He was the first Asian American man to win an Olympic gold medal for the United States (the second Asian American to win a gold medal overall) and the first man to win back-to-back gold medals in Olympic platform diving. Early life and education Lee was born in Fresno, California to parents of Korean descent who owned what he described as "a little chop suey restaurant". His father was fluent in English and Korean, tutored in French, graduated with a degree in civil engineering from Occidental College, and opened a chop suey restaurant and market. Samuel Lee (born 7 February 1959) is an English professional football coach and former player. Lee played most of his career for hometown club Liverpool during the 1970s and 1980s as a midfielder, and also represented England national football team, England fourteen times. He also had playing spells at Queens Park Rangers F.C., Queens Park Rangers, CA Osasuna, Osasuna, Southampton F.C., Southampton, and Bolton Wanderers F.C., Bolton Wanderers. (born November 27, 1957) is a Japanese professional wrestling, Japanese professional wrestler, mixed martial arts, mixed martial artist, MMA and wrestling promoter and writer, best known as the original Tiger Mask (professional wrestling), Tiger Mask. He has wrestled under his real name as well as the names Sammy Lee, and masked Super Tiger, Tiger King, Tiger Mask and The Mask of Tiger. Sammy Lee (May 26, 1890 – March 30, 1968), born Samuel Levy, was an American choreographer, dancer, and producer who worked mainly on Broadway and for 20th Century Fox film corporation in Hollywood. Work on Broadway Lee got his start on the Broadway stage as a dancer and choreographer, along with Signor Albertiera, in the Arthur Hammerstein produced Friml operetta, The Firefly. For the next several years Lee worked as a dancer and choreographer in many reviews before he got his big break as the choreographer for the George and Ira Gershwin musical, '' Lady, Be Good''.
