''Samjhauta'' (English: Compromise) is a 1973 Bollywood drama film directed by Ajay Biswas and produced by Sandeep Sethi. It stars Anil Dhawan, Yogeeta Bali, Shatrughan Sinha, Pradeep Kumar, Naaz, Sulochana Latkar in pivotal roles. The music was composed by Kalyanji-Anandji. Anil Dhawan
Anil Dhawan is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films and television. He made his acting debut with the film ''Chetna'' (1970) followed by ''Piya Ka Ghar'' (1971). He is also known for his 2018 film Andhadhun. Now turned activist, Dhawan was part of Anna Hazare camp in his crusade against corruption in Indian public life. Early life Dhawan belongs to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father, Madan Lal Dhawan, was AGM in UCO Bank, who came to India from Peshawar, Pakistan in around 1947. Anil did his high school from St. Francis Xavier's School, Kanpur and graduated from Christ Church College, Kanpur. He later obtained a diploma in acting from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune in the same batch as Jaya Bhaduri. His son is actor Siddharth Dhawan. Shyamalal Babu Rai, known professionally as Indeevar, (also credited as Indiwar and Indeewar) (1 January 1924 – 27 February 1997) was one of the leading Hindi film lyricists in the 1960s. Early life He was born in Barua Sagar of Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh and grew up in Barua Sagar in Jhansi District. He moved to Mumbai to pursue a professional career as a lyricist. Mukesh Chand Mathur (22 July 1923 – 27 August 1976), better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. Mukesh is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of the Hindi film industry.
