Al Mouaallima Wal Oustaz ( ar, المعلّمة والأستاذ en, The teacher and the professor) is a popular Lebanese television series made during the 80s, Starring Ibrahim Maraachli, Hind Abi-Llama and Layla Karam. The series was broadcast on Télé Liban, the Lebanese national broadcaster and had a total of 13 episodes. Synopsis ''Al Mouaallima wal Oustaz'' takes place in a private school, named "Mahou L-Oummiya" ( ar, محو الأُمّيّة, en, Erase Analphabetism), where two professors teach grown-ups the basics of Arabic language. The first professor, a sympathetic man called Ibrahim (Ibrahim Meraachli), tries to marry the other teacher, played by Hind Abi-Llama, and finally succeeds. Smurfette ( French: La Schtroumpfette) is one of the protagonists from the comic strip ''The Smurfs''. Smurfette was created by the evil wizard Gargamel, the Smurfs' archenemy, in order to spy on them and sow jealousy. However, she decides that she wants to be a real Smurf and Papa Smurf casts a spell that changes her hair from black to blonde as a sign of her transformation. She was the only female Smurf until the creation of Sassette. A Granny Smurf was also later introduced, although it is unclear how she was created.
