Samagamam
''Samaagamam'' is a 1993 Indian Malayalam film, directed by George Kithu and produced by Babu Thiruvalla. The film stars Jayaram, Rohini, Sukumari and Thilakan in the lead roles. The film has musical score by Johnson. Plot Skaria is a plantation owner and has other businesses. Skaria and Annakutty has a daughter Elsamma. She is a college student and her father has high hopes about Elsamma. A new sports coach, Johnson comes to the college and she falls in love with him. When Skaria learns about it Skaria makes arrangements for his daughter's marriage to someone of his choice before things get worse. John Paul (29 October 1950 – 23 April 2022) was an Indian scriptwriter, producer, author and actor who worked in Malayalam cinema. He is best known for his work in 1980s and early 1990s. Palappurathu Kesavan Surendranatha Thilakan (15 July 1935 – 24 September 2012) was an Indian film and stage actor who appeared in over 200 Malayalam films. Thilakan was known for his elaborate method acting, realistic and spontaneous appearances. He is considered by many to be one of the greatest Indian actors of all time. Early life Thilakan was the second of the six children of Palapurath T. S. Keshavan (1904–1972) and Devayani (1912–2010). Thilakan was born in Plankamon, Ayroor Panchayat in the present-day Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. Jose Pellissery (1950 – 5 December 2004) was an Indian film and theatre actor. Biography As an actor in Malayalam cinema, he played supporting roles in about 100 films. His 15-year film career included roles in such movies as ''Aadhaaram'', ''Akashadoothu'', ''Naadody'', and ''Ghazal''. Pellissery was a partner of the theatre company Chalakudy Sarathy Theatres. He performed in about a dozen plays produced by this company under the direction of Thilakan, including ''Five Star Hospital'', ''Alakal'', ''Indhanam'', ''Fassahu'', ''Mochanam Nale'', ''Adisankaran Janicha Naattil'', and ''Chamayam''.
