Sam Sumyk
Sam Sumyk (born 1967) is a French tennis coach. He has coached Donna Vekic since September 2020. Until late March 2020, he coached WTA tennis pro Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, but the two parted ways after just over six months. He has previously worked with former world number one players Victoria Azarenka and Garbiñe Muguruza, former world number two Vera Zvonareva, 2014 Wimbledon finalist Eugenie Bouchard, as well as other players. Personal life Sumyk is married to former WTA player Meilen Tu, whom he coached to her highest career ranking of 35 in 2007. Coaching career Prior to 2010, Sumyk coached Russian Vera Zvonareva, who first entered the top ten briefly in 2004 before injuries threatened to derail her career. Vera Zvonareva
Vera Igorevna Zvonareva ( rus, Вера Игоревна Звонарёва, p=ˈvʲɛrə ˈiɡərʲɪvnə zvənɐˈrʲɵvə, a=Vera zvonareva.ogg; born 7 September 1984) is a Russian professional tennis player. She was introduced to tennis at the age of six and turned professional in 2000. Her career-high ranking by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) is world No. 2. Zvonareva has won twelve WTA Tour singles titles, including the 2009 Indian Wells Open, and reached the finals of the 2008 WTA Tour Championships, 2010 Wimbledon Championships, and 2010 US Open. António Van Grichen
António van Grichen (born October 3, 1978) is a tennis coach, best known for being the former coach of former WTA World No. 1 Victoria Azarenka. He has also coached Vera Zvonareva, Ana Ivanovic, and Jarmila Gajdošová, and as of August 2014, is the current coach of Marcos Baghdatis. Coaching career Van Grichen started coaching Victoria Azarenka in 2005, when she was the World No. 1 at junior level (World No. 220 overall). During this time, Azarenka reached the world's Top 10 and won what was, at the time, the biggest title of her career, by defeating Serena Williams in the final of the 2009 Miami Masters. That year, she reached her first two Grand Slam quarter-finals, at the French Open and Wimbledon, losing to Dinara Safina and Williams respectively. Thomas Högstedt
Thomas Högstedt (born 21 September 1963) is a Swedish tennis coach and former professional player. He is the former coach of Tommy Haas, Magnus Norman, Eugenie Bouchard, Caroline Wozniacki, Maria Sharapova, Li Na, Simona Halep, Madison Keys and Johanna Konta. Career Högstedt was the junior singles winner at the 1981 US Open, defeating West German player Hans Schwaier in the final. The following year he had a win over rising star Mats Wilander at Cincinnati and was a semi-finalist at Basel and Båstad. Nick Saviano (born June 5, 1956) is an American former tennis player and subsequent tennis coach. Career Saviano won one singles title during his career as a pro (1983 Lorraine Open). The left-hander reached his highest individual ranking on the professional ATP Tour on July 12, 1978, when he became the number 48 ranked player in the world. Wim Fissette (born 22 March 1980) is a Belgian tennis coach and former professional player. He has worked with former Women's Tennis Association (WTA) world number ones Victoria Azarenka, Kim Clijsters, Simona Halep, Angelique Kerber, and Naomi Osaka. Playing career Fissette reached a career high singles ranking of 1,291 on 23 August 1999.
