Sam Singer
Samuel Singer (August 27, 1912 – January 25, 2001) was an American animator and animation producer. He is best known as executive producer of ''The Adventures of Pow Wow'', a cartoon which also later appeared as a segment of early episodes ''Captain Kangaroo''. He also directed ''The Adventures of Paddy the Pelican'' and produced ''Bucky and Pepito''. Animation historian Jerry Beck has referred to Singer as "the Ed Wood of animation" for his low-budget and generally ill-reviewed cartoons. Career Singer was born on August 27 of 1912 as Samuel Singer to Abraham and Ida Singer. In his early career, he worked at Walt Disney Productions before leaving to pursue his animation career. Before that, Singer also worked for various other animation studios located in Hollywood. Courageous Cat And Minute Mouse
''Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse'', is a 1960 children's cartoon television show, that was produced by Trans-Artists Productions, and syndicated by Tele Features Inc. The characters were originated and created by authors Bob Kane and Gerald J. Rappoport as a spoof of Kane's earlier creations, Batman and Robin. In many ways, ''Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse'' presages the camp aspects of the later '' Batman'' live action series, which William Dozier and Howie Horwitz produced as a villain-driven action-comedy lampoon. ''Animato!'' was a magazine that was dedicated to animation, generally viewed by animation fans as a successor to Michael Barrier's pioneering ''Funnyworld'' and David Mruz's ''Mindrot''/''Animania''. History and profile ''Animato!'' was first published in the summer of 1983.The magazine was founded and initially edited by Michael A. Ventrella in Boston in the early 1980s and featured the film '' Rock & Rule'' as its first cover. Harry McCracken later become editor and expanded the magazine to full sized with a color cover. George Sidney (October 4, 1916May 5, 2002) was an American film director and producer who worked primarily at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. His work includes cult classics ''Bye Bye Birdie'' (1963) and ''Viva Las Vegas'' (1964). Joseph Roland Barbera ( ; ; March 24, 1911 – December 18, 2006) was an American animator, director, producer, storyboard artist, and cartoon artist who co-founded the animation studio and production company Hanna-Barbera. Born to Italian immigrants in New York City, Barbera joined Van Beuren Studios in 1927 and subsequently Terrytoons in 1929.
