Sam Sibert
Sam L. Sibert (born February 11, 1949) is a retired American professional basketball player. He was born in McCormick, South Carolina and went to Crane High School in Chicago. He played briefly in the NBA with the Kansas City-Omaha Kings, averaging 2.4 points per game in five games during the 1972-73 season. Sibert attended Eastern Oklahoma State College then transferred to Texas Tech University in 1969 before attending Kentucky State University Kentucky State University (KSU and KYSU) is a Public university, public Historically black colleges and universities, historically black land-grant university in Frankfort, Kentucky. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center.
