Sam Cox (footballer, Born 1990)
Samuel Peter Cox (born 10 October 1990) is a footballer who plays as a midfielder or defender who plays for National League South club Welling United. Born in England, he represents the Guyana national team. He also works as a coach at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy. Club career Cox was "having trials at Watford and Arsenal by the time he was nine years old". Cox started his career in the Tottenham Hotspur Academy, at the age of 15. He joined the academy full-time in the 2007–08 season. During the 2008–09 season, he made 24 appearances in the under-18 team and two substitute appearances in the reserve team. Guyana National Football Team
The Guyana national football team, nicknamed the ''Golden Jaguars'', represents Guyana in international football and is controlled by the Guyana Football Federation. Martin Allen
Martin James Allen (born 14 August 1965) is an English football manager and former player. He played more than 100 games as a midfielder for both Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United before finishing his playing career with Portsmouth and Southend United. Five years later, he took his first job in management, at non-league Barnet. He has since managed Brentford, Milton Keynes Dons, Leicester City, Cheltenham Town and Notts County. He rejoined Barnet as manager on 16 April 2012 on a short-term, three-match contract succeeding Lawrie Sanchez. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958.
