Trackmasters
The Trackmasters are an American hip hop production duo composed of music producers Poke (Jean-Claude Olivier) and Tone (Samuel Barnes), best known for their commercial hit records in the mid-late 1990s and early 2000s. Frank "Nitty" Pimentel joined forces with the duo to complete the success of "Trackmasters". Throughout their career, they have worked with various hip-hop and R&B artists including Destiny's Child, Nas, R. Kelly, LL Cool J, Mary J. Blige, Will Smith, Jay-Z, Cam'ron, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, The Notorious B.I.G. and 50 Cent. Known for their commercially successful singles and many remixes, they have collectively earned over seven gold and twenty platinum plaques throughout their career. Samuel Barnes (Australian Politician)
Samuel Barnes (c. 1865 – 13 March 1951) was an English-born Australian politician. He was born in Cornwall to miner Samuel Meyn Barnes and Jane Mitchell. He was a timber worker, and after suffering a serious leg injury emigrated to Victoria around 1886. He worked for the Treasury Department before becoming a mine manager at Walhalla. He held a supervisory position during the construction of the Long Tunnel mines, and served on the Walhalla Shire Council from 1905 to 1910 (president 1909–10). In 1910, Barnes was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly for Walhalla as a Liberal, later transitioning to the Nationalist Party. He was briefly a minister without portfolio from September to November 1917, and served as Minister of Railways and Mines from 1918 to 1923. He lost his seat to a Country Party candidate in 1927 and retired from politics. Sam Barnes (born 16 October 1991) is an English footballer who plays as a centre-back for Cymru Premier club Aberystwyth Town. A former Liverpool schoolboys player, he first played for the Stockport County Under 18 team whilst still at school. His twin brother Louis Barnes was also part of the Under 18 side and was, along with Sam, given a squad number for the first team in the 2009/10 season. In August 2010 both of the Barnes twins went on trial at Manchester United and played for United's reserve team in a pre-season 2–0 win over Altrincham. They were released shortly afterwards after they failed to agree new contracts at Stockport County. In January 2011 he joined Northwich Victoria. In February 2011 he joined Marine.
