Sam Bagenda
Sam Bagenda, popularly known by his stage name Dr. Bbosa, (born 31 March 1965), is a prominent Ugandan actor and singer. Started his career as a singer, Bagenda later became a popular actor, who is best known for the roles in the Malayalam Movie ''Escape from Uganda'' and film ''That's Life Mwattu''. Meanwhile, Bagenda was also voted Ugandan actor of the millennium in 2000. Personal life He was born on 31 March 1965, in Mukono, Uganda, in a family with four siblings. His father Dr. Sam Bakiranze was a doctor and mother Margaret Bakiranze was a teacher. He started education from Auntie Clare and City Nursery schools. Later he attended to Kitante Primary school and completed his secondary school at Lubiri Secondary School, Kampala and Caltek Academy Makerere. Mukono Town is a municipality in Mukono District in the Central Region of Uganda. The town is administered by the Mukono Town Council. The district headquarters are located in this town. Jimmy Katumba
Jimmy Katumba (1955 – 13 August 2006) was a Ugandan popular music singer. Starting out as a singer of gospel music in his early years, he rose to fame as the country's premier pop star from late-1970s to the 1990s. Jimmy Katumba helped shape popular music in Uganda and has earned a place among the country’s leading music artists. His band, ''The Ebonies'', dominated the Ugandan music scene in the 1980s and 1990s. Early childhood Katumba was born to Reverend Blasio Katumba and Alice Nakyagaba. ''Escape from Uganda'' is a 2013 Malayalam thriller film directed by Rajesh Mohanan. The cast includes Rima Kallingal, Vijay Babu, R.
