Salman Shah (actor)
Shahriar Chowdhury Emon (19 September 1971 – 6 September 1996) known by his stage name Salman Shah was a Bangladeshi film and television actor. He started his career with the first episode of the television serial ''Pathor Shomoy''. He got breakthrough for his role in the film ''Keyamat Theke Keyamat''. His death in 1996 was ruled as a suicide, a claim that is disputed by his family. Early life and career Shah was born as Shahriar Chowdhury Emon on 19 September 1971 in Zakiganj, Sylhet, Bangladesh to Nilufar Zaman Chowdhury and Kamaruddin Chowdhury. He had a younger brother Chowdhury Mohammad Shahran Evan. In 1993, Shah got his break-through in the film ''Keyamot Theke Keyamot'', directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan. Zakiganj, Sylhet
Zakiganj ( bn, জকিগঞ্জ) is an upazila of Sylhet District in Sylhet Division, Bangladesh. History There are a few theories behind the name of Zakiganj. The first is that is derived from Shah Zaki, a Pir (Sufism), pir who established a khanqah on the banks of the Kushiyara River. A ''ganj'', Perso-Bengali suffix meaning 'marketplace' or 'neighbourhood', was then set up around the khanqah. In memory of Shah Zaki, nearby places are named Pirerkhal and the village Pirerchok. Another theory is that it is named after a man named Ghulam Zaki Majumdar, whose brother Karim Majumdar is who Karimganj district is said to have been named after. Zakiganj was established as a thana in 1947 and was previously a part of the greater Karimganj district. Konna Dan
Konna is a town and rural commune in the Cercle of Mopti in the Mopti Region of Mali. The town lies 60 km northeast of Mopti on the eastern edge of the flood plain of the Niger River. The main RN16 highway linking Sévaré and Gao branches to the east just to the south of the town. The commune has an area of approximately 838 km2 and contains the town and 24 of the surrounding villages. In the 2009 census, it had a population of 36,767. A weekly market is held in the town on Thursdays that attracts many people from the surrounding settlements. The Shafii ( ar, شَافِعِي, translit=Shāfiʿī, also spelled Shafei) school, also known as Madhhab al-Shāfiʿī, is one of the four major traditional schools of religious law (madhhab) in the Sunnī branch of Islam. It was founded by Arab theologian Muḥammad ibn Idrīs al-Shāfiʿī, "the father of Muslim jurisprudence", in the early 9th century. Jibon Rahman (1964 – 16 January 2020) was a Bangladeshi film director. He directed 15 films. Biography Rahman was born in 1964 at Mothkhola in Pakundia of Kishoreganj. His first direction ''Gohor Badsha Banecha Pori'' was released in the early 90s. Rahman directed ''Prem Juddho'' which was released in 1994. In this film Salman Shah worked as a playback singer for the first time in his career. He recorded a song titled "Tumi Amar Jiboner Ek Swapno Jeno" for this film. Gazi Mazharul Anwar (22 February 1943 – 4 September 2022) was a Bangladeshi film director, producer, lyricist, screenwriter and music director. He earned the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Lyricist a record six times for the films ''Tit for Tat (1992)'', ''Ajante (1996)'', ''Churiwala (2001)'', ''Lal Dariya (2002)'', ''Kokhono Megh Kokhono Brishti (2003)'' and '' Meyeti Ekhon Kothay Jabe (2016)''.
