Salim Nourallah
Salim Nourallah is a Texas-based singer, songwriter, and producer. Music career Born in Alton, Illinois, the eldest child of Fayez and Karen Nourallah, Nourallah was raised in El Paso, Texas, where his family moved when he was three. With his brother Faris, Salim relocated to Denton, Texas, in 1988. They formed a band together called the Moon Festival from 1990 to 1997. The Nourallah Brothers self-titled debut was released by Western Vinyl in 2000. The album was actually recorded in 1998, and during the wait the brothers separated. Faris continued with a solo career while Salim formed the pop-punk band the Happiness Factor. The Happiness Factor released two albums: ''Self-Improvement?'' (Summer Break Records) in 2001 and ''Avoid Danger'' (Paisley Pop) in 2004. In 2004 Salim Nourallah started his solo career as a recording artist with ''Polaroid'' (Western Vinyl) and the EP ''A Way to Your Heart'' (Paisley Pop). Alton ( ) is a city on the Mississippi River in Madison County, Illinois, United States, about north of St. Louis, Missouri. The population was 25,676 at the 2020 census. It is a part of the River Bend area in the Metro-East region of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area. Nicholas Altobelli (born February 11, 1985) is an American singer and songwriter based in Dallas, Texas. Career Altobelli's debut self-released album, ''Waiting for the Flowers to Bloom'', was released during the winter of 2008. His self-released follow up, ''The Regulator'', was released during the spring of 2010. Shortly after the release of ''The Regulator'', Altobelli launched his own label, Dalton Records, where he released 2011's ''Radio Waves and Telephone Wire''. The album featured a duet with former Whiskeytown member, Caitlin Cary. Fort Worth Star Telegram/dfw.com ranked ''Radio Waves and Telephone Wire'' Number 7 for its top ten albums of 2011. It was co-founded by Deep Blue Something drummer John Kirtland and his wife, Jenny Kirtland of The Polyphonic Spree.
