Salama Abū Hāshim ( ar, سلمة أبو هاشم) or Salma Abu Hashim, was one of the companions of Muhammad. Salama a village near Jaffa is reportedly named after him. Salama, Jaffa
Salamah ( ar, سلمة) was a Palestinian Arab village, located five kilometers east of Jaffa, that was depopulated in the lead-up to the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The town was named for Salama Abu Hashim, a companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
