Sakurai Station (Aichi)
is a railway station in the city of Anjō, Aichi, Japan, operated by Meitetsu. Lines Sakurai Station is served by the Meitetsu Nishio Line, and is located 7.9 kilometers from the starting point of the line at . Station layout The station is an elevated station with a dual opposed side platforms with the station building underneath. The station is staffed. The is a railway line operated by the private railway operator Nagoya Railroad (Meitetsu) in Aichi Prefecture is a prefecture of Japan located in the Chūbu region of Honshū. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. A station having dual side platforms, one for each direction of travel, is the basic design used for double-track railway lines (as opposed to, for instance, the island platform where a single platform lies between the tracks).
