Saipa Teheran
Saipa Football Club ( fa, باشگاه فوتبال سايپا, ''Bashgah-e Futbal-e Saipa'') is a football club from Tehran, Iran. The team is owned by SAIPA, an Iranian automobile manufacturer. The team has never had a large fanbase, despite some success. It is known to have one of the best youth academies in Iranian football and regularly promotes academy players to the first team. In the 2006–07 season, under the guidance of Ali Daei, Saipa won their only Persian Gulf Cup title. Saipa has also won the Azadegan League twice and the Hazfi Cup once. Saipa is the football club of the multisport Saipa Cultural and Athletic Corporation. History Early days In 1989, SAIPA Company decided to start its own football team. The Shahid Dastgerdi Stadium (also known as PAS Tehran Stadium) ( fa, ورزشگاه شهيد دستگردی, ''Vârzeshgah-e Shihid Dâstgârdi'') is a football stadium located in the Ekbatan area of Tehran, Iran. The AFC Champions League (abbreviated as ACL) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation, and contested by Asia's top-division football clubs. Javad Nekounam
Javad Nekounam ( fa, جواد نکونام; born 7 September 1980) is an Iranian retired professional association football, footballer who played as a central midfielder and is the current manager (association football), manager of Foolad F.C., Foolad FC.
