Juan Adolfo Fernández Saínz (born in 1947) is a Cuban journalist. Before his imprisonment, he was an independent journalist with the Patria news agency. Adolfo Fernández Sainz also contributed to foreign publications, particularly in Sweden. He was correspondent of the Russian human rights news agency Prima since 2001. Adolfo Fernández Sainz was arrested and sentenced to 15 years in prison during the Black Spring crackdown on dissidents in 2003. In prison, he has done hunger strikes. A 2003 hunger strike demanded decent food and medicine for seriously ill prisoners. Amnesty International has recognized him as a prisoner of conscience. Steven Sainz (born July 13, 1994) is a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives. He represents Georgia's District 180 and has been in office since January 14, 2019. Before his election, Sainz was the Executive Director of Camden Family Connection, a Georgian nonprofit organization. Sainz was twenty-three years old when he launched his campaign. He ran unopposed in the 2018 general election after defeating incumbent candidate Jason Spencer in the Republican primary. Spencer was facing criticism at the time for proposing a bill that would ban face coverings such as hijabs, as well as for making controversial comments on the television series Who is America?. Severiano Sainz Y Bencamo
(7 November 1871 in Pinar del Río, Cuba - 14 March 1937 in Matanzas, Cuba) was the second bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Matanzas (1915–1937). His parents were Juan Sainz y María Antonia Bencomo. When he was very young he was taken to Spain and commenced his studies with the Jesuits in Orduña. He later returned to Cuba and in 1891 he was studying at the San Carlos and San Ambrosio Seminary. He was ordained a priest on 23 December 1898 by Mons. Manuel Santander Frutos Bishop of Havana. On 19 September 1907, he was named Administrator of Cementerio Cristóbal Colón. In 1914, he was offered the Archdiocese of Santiago de Cuba and refused. Regino Sainz de la Maza y Ruiz (7 September 1896 – 26 November 1981) was a Spanish classical guitarist and composer. Biography Sainz de la Maza was born in Burgos. At ten, he got his first guitar and started his musical studies with Santiago Landache ( solfege), José Nicolás Quesada (piano), and Eugenio Rodríguez Pascual (guitar). In 1910, his family moved to San Sebastián, where he studied piano with Germán Cendoya, harmony with Beltrán Pagola and guitar with Luis Soria. A year later, he moved to Bilbao, where he continued his studies with Hilarión Leloup. At 18, he performed at his first concert at the Teatro Arriaga of Bilbao. Luis Sáinz Hinojosa (21 June 1936 – 8 October 2022) was a Bolivian prelate of the Catholic Church. Luis Sáinz Hinojosa was born on 21 June 1936 in Tiquipaya, Bolivia. He joined the Franciscans on 17 January 1961 and was ordained a priest on 26 August 1962. On 8 May 1982, Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop of Cochabamba and titular bishop of Thucca Terebenthina.
