Saint-Sauveur, New Brunswick
Allardville is a civil parish in Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada, situated south and southeast of Bathurst. The heavily francophone parish was divided (before 2023) into two local service districts for governance purposes, both of which are members of the Chaleur Regional Service Commission (CRSC). Origin of name The parish was named in honour of Monsignor Jean-Joseph-Auguste Allard, who brought new settlers from the East Bathurst area in 1932. History Allardville was erected in 1947 from parts of Bathurst, Saint-Isidore, and Saumarez Parishes. This was the last new parish to be erected in New Brunswick. Saint-Sauveur-de-Montagut (; Vivaro-Alpine: ''Sant Sauvador de Montagut'') is a commune of the Ardèche department in southern France. The rivers Eyrieux, Glueyre and Auzène flow through the town. Sights Ruins of an early-medieval castle (which was used as a watch tower/outpost) on one of the hills are the main historical remnant of what is one of France's most sparsely populated areas. Population Culture Protestantism is strong in the town, with the town having both a Protestant temple and a Roman Catholic church.
