The federal electoral redistribution of 2012 was a redistribution of electoral districts ("ridings") in Canada following the results of the 2011 Canadian census. As a result of amendments to the Constitution Act, 1867, the number of seats in the House of Commons of Canada increased from 308 to 338. The previous electoral redistribution was in 2003. Saint-Hyacinthe (; French: ) is a city in southwestern Quebec east of Montreal on the Yamaska River. The population as of the 2021 Canadian census was 57,239. The city is located in Les Maskoutains Regional County Municipality of the Montérégie region, and is traversed by the Yamaska River. Quebec Autoroute 20 runs perpendicular to the river. Yvan Loubier (born April 10, 1959 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian politician and one of the founders of the Bloc Québécois. He was a Bloc Québécois member of the House of Commons of Canada representing the district of Saint-Hyacinthe—Bagot, from the since he was first elected in the 1993 election, until his resignation on February 21, 2007. Prior to being elected he was a consultant in economic policies and international trade and was an economist. At the time of his resignation, he was chair of the Subcommittee on Fiscal Imbalance and is the Bloc's Finance critic. He has also in the past been the critic of Western Economic Diversification, International Financial Institutions, Indian Affairs and Northern Development, Intergovernmental Affairs, and Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness. Saint-Liboire (or Saint-Liboire-de-Bagot) is a municipality in the municipalité régionale de comté des Maskoutains in Québec, Canada, located in the administrative region of Montérégie. The population as of the 2011 Canadian Census was 3,051. History Before the foundation of Saint-Liboire, the actual town territory was included in the Seigneurie de Ramezay given to Claude de Ramezay near 1710. The village municipality was founded in 1857 with the purpose to offer more arable lands to the Catholic colonists coming from the Saint-Hyacinthe region. It became the chief town of Bagot County.
