Weymouth And Portland National Sailing Academy
The Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy is a centre for the sport of sailing on the Isle of Portland, Dorset, on the south coast of England. The academy building is located in Osprey Quay on the northern tip of the island, and the waters of Portland Harbour and Weymouth Bay, adjacent to the site, are the main areas used for sailing. Igor Marenić (born 2 January 1986) is a Croatian professional sailor. Competing in the 470 class with Šime Fantela, he won gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics, the 2009 World Championships, and three European Championships (2009, 2011, 2012). Ferdinand Gerz (born 17 November 1988 in Munich) is a German sailor, who specialized in two-person dinghy (470) class. Sven Erik Coster (born 2 December 1978, in Leiden) is a sailor from the Netherlands. Coster represented his country for the first time at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Anton Carl Diderik Dahlberg (born 10 May 1985) is a Swedish sailor, who specializes in the 470 class, a two-person dinghy.
