The Star was a sailing event on the Sailing at the 1960 Summer Olympics program in Naples. Seven races were scheduled. 53 sailors, on 26 boats, from 26 nations competed. Spyros Makridakis (born 22 April 1941) is a professor of thUniversity of NicosiaUNIC where he is the Director of the Institute for the Future (IFF) and an Emeritus Professor of Decision Sciences at INSEAD as well as the University of Piraeus and one of the world's leading experts on forecasting, with many journal articles and books on the subject.
