Akhundzada Peer Saif ur Rahman Mubarak ( ar, آخوندزاده سيف الرحمان مبارك) also known as Mubarak Sahib (1925–2010) was a Sufi scholar of the Naqshbandi Mujaddadi Tariqa, the founder of the Silsila Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Saifia. He adhered to the Sunni Maturidi aqeedah (belief set) and practised the Hanafi school of Islam. Mohammad Saifur Rahman ( bn, মোহাম্মদ সাইফুর রহমান; October 6, 1932 – September 5, 2009) was a Bangladeshi economist and politician. He was a leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and the longest-serving Finance Minister of Bangladesh. He delivered 12 national budgets in three terms between 1980 and 1981, 1991–1996 and 2001–2006 over a ministerial life spanning from December 1976 until October 2006 in three different governments. Maulvi Saif-ur Mansur (also Saifullah Rahman Mansour, Saifullah Rehman Mansoor; died ) was a senior Taliban commander. Saifullah's father, Nasrullah Mansur, had been one of the leading militia commanders who fought against the Soviet Union during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. Prior to the American invasion of Afghanistan Saifullah was the deputy commander of the Taliban's garrison at Kargha, on the outskirts of Kabul. Saifur Rahman Halimi ( ps, سيف الرحمن حليمي) was born in Afghanistan, and became a legal resident of the United States. Following the arrest of bombing suspect Najibullah Zazi, and his father Mohammed Wali Zazi, the ''Associated Press'' characterized Saifur Rahman Halimi as Gulbuddin Hekmatyar's "chief representative". In 1996, Halimi was an expert witness in a sexual abuse case. Mohammad Kargar, a man from Afghanistan who was living in Maine was tried for kissing his 18-month-old son's penis.
